Shortly after we started this project, the clients decided that rather than play it safe with traditional cottage details, they wanted to push the interior architecture in a more contemporary direction. We brought Gale Goff Architect on board and knew she'd be the perfect person to do it. Gale partnered several different interior finishes, materials, and paneling patterns etc. to work to seriously up both the luxe and the cool factor. The stair is the real star, connecting all three levels, playing with shadow and light and serving to provide a sculptural focal point at the very heart of the house.
