We just started interior demolition on a great old Victorian Home right on the bluff on Warren’s Point. This house is getting the makeover it so deserves thanks to the thoughtful design of Ronald DiMauro Architects. We are excited to bring new life into this classic Victorian vacation home.

Vinalhaven, Maine is nice! A week in the wilderness with family, friends, seals, bald eagles, dolphins and lots of lobsters – they even sell lobsters at the gas station up there!

We are in full swing framing up another great project designed by Gale Goff. This one is right down by the Westport River and is sited to take in the views. This is the second house we’ve built for our clients and it has been a great working relationship.

We are excited to partner again with Gale Goff on a small, affordable home on the Westport River. The young family has owned a tiny cottage for years but it is in need of a serious re-boot. Gale and I are working together to value engineer the project so that it works within their budget.  Will post before and after pics as we go along!

We had a great family vacation at Playa Troncones, Mexico. We come home to a full plate with lots of exciting projects on the boards. We are mid-way through a great renovation project in Little Compton led by Gale Goff, we’re finishing framing a new vacation house on the Westport River and we’re looking at two new starts for the spring. We are thankful to all of our clients, partners and trade professionals.

We are flying along on the main house for the family compound on Taylors Lane. We finished the guest house, solar barn and potting shed last year so that the clients could live in the guest house while we built the the main house. With impressive plans in hand from Durkee Brown – we are happy to be underway again.

We’ve just been awarded a great project designed by Christopher Hall. It’s in a stunning location on the Westport River and we look forward to breaking ground there in the next couple of weeks. The design is beautiful as well as thoughtful and we are excited to be working with Chris and our new clients.

Our net-zero project in Little Compton is now back-feeding the grid. The barn’s standing seam metal roof has photovoltaic laminates that collect the solar energy. The energy is used by the house with the excess back-feeding the grid. A very progressive project with clients whose commitment to sustainability is admirable.

Jacob Talbot Fine Homebuilders is pleased to partner with Dennis Talbot on another great project. This one is on a stunning piece of property on Buzzards Bay, with an inspired design by Chip Gillespie of Dyer Brown South Coast Architects. We look forward to breaking ground this spring.
